Queen of Apostles Seminary continues to take high numbers of students to public universities. Forty two out of fifty five candidates got admission to universities as government sponsored students in 2017.

School history

Queen of Apostles Seminary was started at Kabaa in 1926. It  moved to Kilimambogo in 1946.  It was moved back to Kabaa for two years in 1954, it was further moved from Kabaa to Kiserian in 1956 and lastly from Kiserian to this new site (Ruaraka)  in 1967. the seminary was established with the sole aim of forming young boys to embrace the priestly ministry in the future.  over the years many young men who have passed here have become priests and responsible citizens in our country.

To train and inculcate knowledge, skills and attitude for holistic person who is well placed to proceed to the senior Seminary.

Vision

To be a model Catholic institution for holistic growth of young Seminarians.

Objectives

The main objective of Queen of Apostles Seminary is to create and foster an environment conducive for academically qualified young boys who feel called to the life of catholic priesthood. Seminary environment deepens the awareness of God’s presence in the student’s live so that he may discover what God is expecting him to be and do.  A seminarian is, therefore, expected to live a full Christian life, contributing to the best of his ability to the community life of the Seminary by:

  • Being faithful to individual prayer and Catholic practice;
  • Being faithful to individual prayer and Catholic practice;
  • Participating in community prayer and worship;
  • Fostering their own & fellow seminarians’ call to a strong Christian life and discernment of the Priestly Vocation;
  • Generously learning to live in service of others.
