VISION AND MISSION
The school Library program will be integrated in the school curriculum and serve both teaching and non-teaching staff and all the students, regardless of their class, age and ability. The school library will support students’ achievements by offering programs that provides resources and activities that contribute to lifelong learning.
Queen of Apostles Seminary library core values: –
The library has a program that empowers students to be critical thinkers, effective and ethical users and producers of ideas and information, and lifelong readers and learners in order for them to become priests, spiritual leaders or productive citizens in a global society.
Functions of the Q.A.S library: –
The library ensures strong connection between the classroom programmes, the curriculum and the school community. Its responsibility includes collaboration with teaching staff to coordinate and promote: services and resources supporting inquiry learning and research which helps in enhancing their vocabulary, self confidence and hence class participation.
Our seminary library is rich in learning resources and is well equipped with current books and revision materials necessary for enhancing intellectual formation of students. The books in our library come in diverse subjects to ensure that students are given an environment where they can read widely. New and current books are constantly procured and stocked in the library and then availed to our students for their study. The library is indeed as essential component in developing a reading culture in the seminary.
